I visually researched into a range of home automation applications that had been created for mobile devices as this will be the primary way in which hotel goers will be able to control there room. Creating an iPhone app also means users can make changes to the room before they get there. Many of the apps allow for quick change of many features within one screen so users aren’t navigating many menus to make small changes in the room. Users want the simplicity of turn a light switch on and off.
