Unfortunately, there was little warning for the pitch date and time for us to be able to pitch the Winter Light Festival boards and so myself and Lisa were both on placement the day of the pitches were taking place. We have now received official feedback from the comity for the WLF. Here is our feedback:
Group 1 We liked the bespoke typeface of light and dark and thought that this was both inventive and practical. We thought that you could have used the typeface in different sizes within the logo to develop the design. The merchandising could have been more inventive as could the website, we felt that rebranding the festival TRIO somewhat missed the point as this is a Sowerby Bridge Festival and does not really involve the other villages, we wanted the branding to reflect the brand of Winterlight. We thought the presentation boards were of a high quality as were the visuals of the printed material. We would have liked to meet the students so that we could have had a dialogue with them.
